Along the way, Larek's understanding of the world expands, but so too does the world's knowledge of him. Word of his extraordinary Fusion abilities has begun to spread, bringing both opportunity and danger.

Upon arriving at Copperleaf Academy, Larek quickly discovers that whilst this new institution lacks the overt hostility of Dean Wilburt, it presents dangers of an entirely different nature. The threats here are subtler, more complex, and in some ways more treacherous than anything he faced at Crystalview. However, there's a significant advantage: Copperleaf doesn't share Crystalview's prejudice against Fusionists. Without a dean actively punishing him for exercising his talents, Larek finally has the freedom to explore Fusion crafting in ways he could only dream of before.

This newfound freedom allows Larek to expand his skills dramatically. He experiments with advanced techniques, pushes the boundaries of what Fusions can accomplish, and begins to truly understand the depth and versatility of his rare gift.
